Donning dual hats as the Design Director and Front-End Programmer for FAN, I juggled the artistic and analytical, conjuring up a brand identity system and forging a unique UI language, all while crafting a sturdy scaffold of front-end code for website.
BRAND IDENTITY SYSTEM & UI
With a vibrant, Florida-inspired color palette, unapologetic copy, and custom illustrations, FAN’s visual identity is a key factor in their desire to end the stigma against abortion. The brand now feels approachable and loving, while also bold and fearless.
The Results
Florida Access Network is a reproductive justice organization that funds abortion and is creating a reality where sexual health and liberation is an equal opportunity through education, resources, and community. FAN’s website was developed to feel like a safe space. Playful yet very accessible, FAN’s website communicates their journey, their ongoing fight, and provides resources for the individuals in their community and beyond.
